Cacao Tour

Join us for a extensive tour through our Organic Cacao Farm. We grow the rare variety of Criollo Porcelana Cacao and manage the farm based on Permaculture principles.

On this tour you will learn how cacao grows, where it comes from, and how it is processed from tree to bar.

Ripe cacao pods on the tree
Cacao pods on the ground, ready to be opened
Cacao beans fermented and dried ready for processing

La Poza Crystal

There are various waterholes that form on the creek which passes by our home on its way towards the Buritaca River. These places are amazing for a refreshing dip in the cool waters of this stream.

Rio Buritaca

The Buritaca River starts its descent high in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, on its way it passes Teyuna or the Lost  City (Ciudad Perdida), ancient dwelling of our elder brothers the Tayrona People.

Many kilometers later it passes through Cinduli.  Located about half hour away a beautiful hike through the jungles of the Sierra.

Ciudad Perdida (TEYUNA): The Lost City of the Tayrona

We would be happy to guide/help you arrange this fantastic forty something kilometers hike to the Lost City, ancient dwelling of our elder brothers the Tayrona People.

It takes 4 or 5 days to get there and back and it can only be done with a professional certified guide and through one of the six companies in charge of the Sendero Teyuna / Lost City Trek.
